Add Entatan to Entatan for Slack

Three steps. We do the connecting; you keep the accounts.

01

Open the shared channel

A Slack Connect channel between your workspace and ours. Your admins control who is in it.

02

Add the agent app

Install the Entatan agent app with the scopes listed in the portal. It only reads the channels it is invited to.

03

Work in the thread

Agents, demos, and approvals happen in the channel. The portal keeps the record.

Questions

Does the app read our other channels?

No. It reads only the channels it is invited to, and the shared channel is the default. Scopes are listed in the portal and in the agreement, and your admins can revoke them at any time.

Can we use Microsoft Teams instead?

Yes for updates and approvals, with the same receipts in the portal. Agent threads are Slack-first today. If your team lives in Teams, say so in the brief and we scope it in.

What happens when the engagement ends?

The app is removed, the shared channel is archived on your side, and the portal keeps the history in read-only. Nothing about the engagement lives only in Slack.

Who can approve an action?

The people you name at kickoff. Approvals are tied to Slack identities and logged with a timestamp. You can change the approver list from the portal without a new agreement.
