Acceptable use policy

The rules for using Entatan's website, portal, agents, and products, and what we do when they are broken.

Effective: Jul 10, 2026

1. Overview

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to anyone who uses the Entatan website, client portal, agent deployments, or products, and to partners whose users interact with what we build for them. It is part of our Terms of Service and Partner Terms. If a Vinyatan product has its own terms, the stricter rule applies.

2. Prohibited uses

You may not use the Services to:

  • Break the law or help someone else break it.
  • Harass, threaten, defame, or discriminate against people, or generate content that does so.
  • Create or spread malware, phishing, spam, or unsolicited bulk messaging.
  • Infringe intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
  • Produce sexual content involving minors, or content that promotes violence, self-harm, or terrorism.
  • Deceive people about who they are talking to, including presenting AI output as a human's where disclosure is required.
  • Collect or process personal data without a lawful basis, or scrape sites in violation of their terms.
  • Interfere with the Services, other users, or third-party systems, or probe them for vulnerabilities outside our disclosure process.

3. Agents and automation

Agents we deploy act with credentials you grant. You may not direct an agent to exceed those permissions, impersonate a person, bypass approval gates, or take actions in third-party systems that their terms forbid. Agents that send messages must identify themselves as automated where the law or platform requires, and must honor unsubscribe and do-not-contact requests.

4. Content standards

Generated content (copy, imagery, video, code) must be reviewed before publication. It must not make claims you cannot substantiate, use another person's likeness without permission, or omit disclosures required by advertising, financial, health, or consumer protection rules. Where a platform requires labeling AI-generated media, label it.

5. Security and integrity

Do not share credentials, circumvent rate limits or access controls, or test our systems for weaknesses without permission. If you find a vulnerability, report it through the process on our security page. Good-faith research that follows that process will not be treated as a violation of this policy.

6. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations, remove content, throttle or suspend access, pause an engagement, or terminate an agreement. We will tell you what happened and why, unless doing so would compromise an investigation or is prohibited by law. Serious violations may be reported to authorities.

7. Reporting a violation

Report misuse of the Services or of content we built through the contact form, choosing the legal or security topic, or through the privacy portal. Include links, screenshots, and dates. We acknowledge reports within two business days.

8. Changes

We update this policy as the Services and the law change. The date at the top shows the current version. Continued use after an update means you accept it.
