Build

Bring AI-native engineering
to your codebase.

Senior engineers and coding agents working the same repo. Web and mobile apps, platforms, and data systems, shipped in two-week sprints.

Spec

Every build starts with a written spec you approve before code moves.

  • Requirements, data model, and screens in one document
  • Scope cut into two-week increments with a demo at each
  • Every change after approval shows up as a diff, not a surprise

Agents in the loop

Coding agents draft, test, and refactor under a senior engineer who owns the result.

  • Agents run in parallel across the repo, each in its own worktree
  • Every agent change lands through review, tests, and CI
  • People decide architecture; agents cover the volume

Sprints

Work ships on a two-week clock with a live demo at the end of every cycle.

  • Fixed scope, fixed price, fixed date per sprint
  • Preview deploys on every pull request
  • Your team reviews in the client portal, not a slide deck

Production

We run what we ship: observability, on-call, and a changelog your team can read.

  • Metrics, logs, and traces wired in from the first deploy
  • Alerts routed to the people who can act on them
  • A changelog entry for every release, every week

Build

Also in every engagement.

The parts that are not a headline but decide whether the work holds up.

Web and mobile apps

Next.js, React Native, and Swift front ends on typed APIs. Server-rendered where it matters, static where it can be.

Platforms and APIs

Multi-tenant back ends with auth, billing, and webhooks. Postgres by default, serverless where the load is spiky.

Data and pipelines

Ingestion, transformation, and a warehouse your analysts can query. Event streams wired to dashboards from day one.

AI features

Retrieval, structured extraction, and model routing built into the product, with evals that catch regressions before users do.

Modernization

Legacy codebases moved to typed, tested, deployable stacks one module at a time. No big-bang rewrites.

DevOps and reliability

CI/CD, preview environments, infrastructure as code, and monitoring set up once and left running.

How it runs

From brief to production.

The same three moves on every engagement, so you always know what happens next.

01

Scope call

A 45-minute call to map what you need, what exists, and what ships first. You get a written spec and a fixed price within three days.

02

Sprint zero

Repo, CI, environments, and design system in place. The first pull request lands in week one.

03

Ship every two weeks

Each sprint ends with a demo, a deploy, and a changelog entry. Scope for the next sprint is agreed on the same call.

04

Hand off or keep going

Docs, runbooks, and a clean repo are part of the deliverable. Most teams keep us on a retainer for the roadmap.

By the numbers

Measured, not promised.

Questions

Straight answers about Build engagements.

How is this different from a traditional dev shop?

Agents do the volume work and senior engineers do the judgment work, so a two-person pod ships what a six-person team used to. You see the diff, the tests, and the deploy for every change, and you pay per sprint rather than per hour.

What stacks do you work in?

TypeScript end to end by default: Next.js, React Native, Node, Postgres, and serverless on AWS or Vercel. Swift for native Apple work. Python for data and model pipelines. If you already have a stack, we build in it.

Who owns the code?

You do. Work happens in your repositories under your accounts from day one. When an engagement ends nothing needs to be migrated, and every decision is documented in the repo alongside the code it explains.

Do you use AI to write the code?

Yes, and we say so. Coding agents draft, test, and refactor inside the same review process as any engineer. Nothing merges without a person reading it, running it, and putting their name on it. Our principles page covers the details.

How do you price a build?

Fixed price per two-week sprint, scoped in writing before it starts. Larger programs run as monthly retainers. Ventures we co-own are priced on equity or revenue share instead. Current rates are on the pricing page.
