Why Utah
A builder's state
Utah has a deep bench of software, design, and growth talent, a cost of living that lets a small company stay small, and mountains twenty minutes from most desks. We started here because Chance lives here. We stay because the people who build things here tend to build them fast and finish them.
It also keeps us honest. Our partners are spread across the country, and our ventures sell nationally. Working from Utah means we build for customers we cannot see from the window, which is most customers.
How we work here
In person when it counts
The core team meets in person for sprint planning on Mondays and review on Fridays. Everything in between is async and written: briefs, decisions, changelogs. If you are remote, you see the same documents the room sees, on the same day.
We keep a four-hour overlap with Mountain time so that pairing, reviews, and partner calls happen live. Outside that window, your calendar is yours.
Community
Open doors
We host Build Weekend, a hackathon for founders and engineers, and Launch Night, where Vinyatan and partner teams demo what shipped. Both are free, both are in Utah, and both are streamed on X for everyone else.
Between events we run office hours for local founders working on their first product or first campaign. No pitch required. Send a DM on X to book a slot.

Small, senior teams that own a product or a venture end to end. Most roles are open to remote candidates in the US.
Engineering
TypeScript, Next.js, Postgres, AWS. Web and mobile products from spec to production.
Agents
Tool design, orchestration, evals. Agents that run real workflows for real teams.
Creative
Brand systems, motion, video, and ad creative at model speed with human taste.
Growth
Paid social and search, lifecycle, analytics. Measured end to end, reviewed weekly.

Operators and founders in residence who take a Vinyatan company from idea to revenue.
FAQ
Do I need to live in Utah?
Not for most roles. Roles marked Hybrid or Utah need you in the room on Mondays and Fridays. Roles marked Remote (US) can be done from anywhere in the country with a four-hour overlap with Mountain time.
How many days are in the office?
Two for the hybrid team: sprint planning on Monday and review on Friday. The rest of the week is wherever you work best. We do not track hours, we track what shipped.
Do you sponsor visas?
Not yet. Every role currently requires authorization to work in the US. We will update this page and the roles list when that changes.
Can I visit?
We do not take walk-ins, but we host Build Weekend, Launch Night, and founder office hours throughout the year. Send a DM on X and we will find a time.
