Pricing that matches how we work
Sprints, retainers, and venture structures, each priced the way the work actually runs. Today we are publishing all three.
We are publishing our pricing today. Most firms like ours do not, and the reason is usually that pricing is negotiated per deal. We would rather you know what it costs before you write to us, so the first conversation can be about the work.
There are three structures because there are three kinds of work. Each is priced the way the work actually runs.
Sprints
A sprint is two weeks, fixed scope, fixed price, demo on day ten. It is the way to start with us and the right structure for anything with a clear edge: a feature, a migration, a site, an agent deployment, a brand system. Three sprint sizes cover a solo engineer, a pair with creative support, and a full pod.
Sprint pricing is flat. If we finish early, the remaining days go to the next item in your backlog. If we underestimated, the price does not change.
Retainers
A retainer is for work that does not end: running ad accounts, operating agents in production, keeping a product moving after launch. Retainers are monthly, cancel at the end of any month, and come in three levels of capacity. Every retainer includes the weekly growth review and the reporting agent.
Retainers are not a way to buy engineers by the hour. They buy a share of the team's capacity and the whole system behind it. A partner on the smallest retainer gets the same agents and tooling as the largest.
Ventures
Vinyatan work is not billed. Where we build a company with a founder or operator, the structure is equity, revenue share, or a mix, with a small cash component when there is one. Two standard structures are on the pricing page, and the third option is a conversation.
| Sprints | Retainers | Ventures | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Best for | A defined problem with a clear edge | Ongoing operation and growth | A new company |
| Length | Two weeks | Monthly, cancel any time | Years |
| Price | Fixed per sprint | Fixed per month | Equity or revenue share |
| Starts with | A scoping call | A sprint | A pitch |
| Includes The Forge | Yes | Yes | Yes |
What we do not do
- Hourly billing. It rewards slow work and makes every conversation about the clock.
- Discovery phases billed before anything ships. Scoping is a call, not an invoice.
- Media markup. Ad spend is billed by the platforms directly to your accounts. We charge for the work, not a percentage of your budget.
- Lock-in. Everything we build lives in your accounts and repos from the first commit.
Why publish
Because the partners we want to work with make decisions quickly, and a price you have to ask for is a delay. The numbers on the pricing page are the numbers. If a project does not fit any of the three structures, we will say so and suggest what would.
