Founding Software Engineer
Own products end to end for partners and ventures: architecture, code, deploys, and the numbers afterward. You will work with the agent fleet daily and set the standard for how we ship.
What you will do
The work in the first six months, in the order it usually shows up.
- Lead two-week build sprints from brief to production release
- Design and ship web and mobile products in TypeScript and Next.js
- Own data models, integrations, and deployment for the projects you run
- Review agent-generated code and raise the bar on what gets merged
- Pair with growth and creative so features ship with tracking and copy
- Contribute templates, tools, and evals back into The Forge
What we look for
Skills that matter on day one. Titles do not.
- Five or more years shipping production software, with products you can show
- Deep TypeScript and React, comfortable across the stack and the database
- Experience deploying and operating services on a major cloud
- Daily use of AI coding tools, and opinions about where they fail
- Clear written communication: specs, reviews, and changelogs
Nice to have
Helpful, not required.
- Founder or early-employee experience
- Payments, auth, or multi-tenant SaaS work
- Native Swift or Electron experience
