Introducing Entatan
Entatan is an AI-native software engineering and marketing company. One team that builds products, agents, brands, and growth systems for partners and for ventures we own.
Today we are opening Entatan. Entatan is a software engineering and marketing company built around AI from the first commit. We build products, deploy agents, design brands, and run advertising, for companies that hire us and for companies we start ourselves.
The premise is simple. The cost of writing software and producing creative has collapsed in the last two years. The cost of coordinating the people who do those things has not. Most companies still buy engineering from one vendor, brand from a second, and paid media from a third, then spend a quarter getting them to agree. We think the right unit is one team with every discipline in the room, working from one backlog, with models doing most of the typing.
What we do
Entatan runs five services. Each is one word because each is one promise.
- Build. AI-native software engineering, from spec to production. Web and mobile apps, platforms, data, and the agents that run inside them.
- Automate. Agents and workflows that run real operations: support, sales development, back office, and internal tools.
- Create. Brand identity, ad creative, video, and content produced at model speed and finished by people.
- Grow. Performance marketing and advertising across paid social, search, lifecycle, and SEO, measured end to end.
- Launch. New companies built end to end through our venture studio.
The services are not departments. The engineer who ships the checkout flow sits in the review where we decide what the ad should say about it. That is the point.
Two ways to work with us
Envinyatan is our partner line. You bring an existing company and a problem. We bring a team that can ship the software, the campaign, and the agent that connects them. Engagements run as two-week sprints or ongoing retainers.
Vinyatan is our venture line. These are new companies we start, build, and own a stake in. The first are already in production, and we will write about each of them here over the coming weeks.
Both names are Quenya. Envinyatan means renewal. Vinyatan means new. We chose them because they describe the two things we actually do: renew what exists and make what does not.
How we work
Every project runs through The Forge, our production system. It is a set of agents, tooling, compute, and a weekly cadence that every engagement shares. It is why a team our size can carry an engineering backlog, a creative calendar, and an ad account at the same time without dropping any of them.
- Two-week sprints with a demo at the end of each one.
- Agents in the loop for code review, QA, copy variants, and reporting.
- Every deliverable measured against a number you agreed to before we started.
We are honest about what AI is good at and what it is not. Models write most of our first drafts and most of our tests. People decide what to build, review what ships, and take responsibility when it breaks. We have written down the rules we hold ourselves to and will publish them shortly.
Where we are
Entatan is based in Utah and was founded this year by Chance Robertson. We are a small team, and we started Entatan because the tools finally caught up with the way we wanted to work.
Work with us
If you have a product to ship, an operation to automate, or a company to start, tell us about it at /start. You can also DM @chancerobertson on X.
This journal is where we will publish launches, venture updates, and the occasional essay about how we build. First up: why we think marketing and engineering belong on the same team.
